Quix is a Scottish based company providing services to the graphics industries throughout the UK. We have been providing training since 1991, and web development since the wild-wild days of the late 90s.
The services we provide cover four main areas.
Web Development
Our web development team specialise in Content Managed websites using Microsoft ASP.NET and SQL Server 2000. This gives you control over updating the content of your website.
We build websites using current Web Standards techniques, including XHTML, CSS and conform the the WAI Web Accessibility Initiative. more about web development
Applications Training
We offer customised, in-depth applications training. All our trainers are experienced in the day-to-day use of the applications they train. This is necessary as very often they are also involved in production and consulting with our clients. more about training
Web Hosting
We have several options available for hosting, ranging from space on our shared servers starting at £20 per month, to a dedicated or managed server, up to £300 per month.
We offer Webmail, and Livestats as standard on our shared servers, and as an option on dedicated and managed servers.
We provide masses of storage space and bandwidth and have a policy of maintaining low utilisation of our servers, to provide extra capacity for periods of increased traffic. more about hosting
Multimedia
Providing solutions to our clients needs has meant that we've delivered a number of projects for DVD, Web, and CD ROM involving Director, Flash, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro, among others. more about multimedia
QuarkXPress Certification
On 12th June, Tom Madden became the first QuarkXPress Certified Expert in Scotland and only the second in the U.K.
First Furnishings Website Launched
First Furnishings provide a rapid response quality furnishing service to:
