Secure Outlet Locator System

Project: Build an outlet locator system with increased data security.

Special Features: A locator system was provided that was easy for users to use, but with added security to prevent data extraction by robots or automated submission systems.

Although the system was developed to prevent unauthorized access to Payzone's data, it proved too successful! When Payzone decided to provide additional services through a partnership with PayOffline, the PayOffline team thought they would just tap into the data feed we provided. They found out they were prevented from doing this (our systems worked!) and subsequently the service was developed futher to allow access to partner organisations in a secure way.

Another enhancement to the system allowed some major utilities clients to securely use the system in their call centres to allow them to inform their clients of their nearest Payzone location to pay their utility bills.
